The Veteran In A New Field Recreated

 I chose the painting "The Veteran in a New Field" Because when I looked at this picture this person kept on working even though he was being painted.And I think in other paintings people usualy try to look there best and thats why this painting stood out to me.

 I changed the grass to bright green in stead of it being brown and the brown straw that is on the ground is brown because it's  the dead grass.

 Today I was learning how to do digital pop art in LunaPic!

I enjoyed seeing what filters suited me.

I found it challenging to find the right ones for me because of my skin colour it was a bit hard but I got there in the end.

Next time I would change to a different site to have a bit of a play around.

Cooking Tech

In cooking we learn all sorts of skills like. . . Measurements, Temperature,Fractions,Reading,Cleaning,Cooking and doing our own dishes.

Now that I have learn't how to cook and clean at such a young age

I will be prepared for the future.

Today we had another cooking session we made Jelly slice.

We had to read the ingredients and method before we started just so we had a bit of an idea of how we are going to be doing it.

Once we have finished we get the delicious pleasure of eating our food and we get to take them home if we want.

Music Making

We made some music with the music making app called Soundtrap. You can play around and explore the app and to me it was a stress releaver.You get to choose your own titles such as Featured, Beats ,RnB, Hip Hop, Pop, MIDI ,EDM ,Sounds ,Guitar Synth, Jazz, piano and many others.

Incredibox

Today we were learning about how to make music.

I used an app called incredibox.
It is a really cool app that you can use to play around with music.
Basically there are a bunch of people that you can dress up and depending
on what they wear thats the sound they make.
I really recommend it.
Next time I would change the people around.

Puppies

           Our dog Maralyn had puppies about three weeks ago.
                    They have just fully opened their eyes. 
                           They are squeling all the time
                               and they are very clumsy.

Take any juice of your choice.
And add fruit 
Then take a round 
fruit and cut both 
sides to get a circle.
Cut a slit from the circumference to the centre. Slide the fruit 
onto the glass making sure that the fruit is stable.
And there you have it alcohol free cocktails.

Hi my name is Ropiha and I go to Matawai school.
I am a year 6 and have two siblings. We do have quite a lot of pigs and very few dogs. 

Two things I am very passionate about are art, and writing. I have very few goals. Most challenges are in my maths. That's the subject I seem to struggle with the most.

What I’m looking forward to the most would be swimming sports and the cross country and I hope to take my writing to the next level of vocabulary.
